There are no stupid questions.

(But these have already been answered.)

Is an ArtPoint membership required to attend an event?

For most events, an ArtPoint membership is not required to attend. Some events, such as off-site gallery parties, are limited to members due to capacity. Not only does a membership with ArtPoint allow unrestricted access to our programming, but members receive substantial discounts on gala tickets as well as advance notice and limited-time Early Bird discount options.

How can I join the ArtPoint Board of Directors?

Currently, the ArtPoint Board of Directors has no vacancies to fill. Most appointments are made by nomination from a current member of the Board of Directors.

Where can I find pictures from a recent event?

Once an event's photos have uploaded, a link to the gallery will be posted on the event's listing on our events page, and uploaded to our Flickr account. Please note that it may take us up to 7 days to receive the photos from our photographer.

I'm a member, but I'm not receiving my member eNewsletter. What gives?

Our information for you may be inaccurate; it happens from time to time and we don't like it any more than you do. Please contact us and we'll rectify the problem without delay.

Do I have to join as an ArtPoint member to receive event notifications?

Of course not! We would be happy to add you to a special non-member events notification list. While you won't receive all the great offers and discount codes our members do, you'll still know about our upcoming events well in advance.

Hmmm.... are you sure you don't want to join as a member?

Are event tickets tax deductible?

Gala tickets are typically tax deductible, but to what extent depends upon the event and ticket in question. Please contact us for more information.

Just how many events does ArtPoint host in a year?

As you can tell from the number of past events we've had, ArtPoint is just as social as you. Typically, we have two cocktail parties, an annual gala, and several other fun experiences per year. This, of course, is all subject to the annual exhibition schedule at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
